May was an event-filled month. It started with Cinco de Mayo, sprang forward to Mother’s Day and just kept going. MonteCedro’s vibrant community social life was full of music, exercise, and delicious food. Along the way we also took time to get out and explore all that Southern California has to offer.

At MonteCedro
We celebrated Cinco de Mayo with a fiesta, featuring refreshing margaritas, freshly prepared guacamole, and the vibrant sounds of traditional Mexican music. The event was elevated by a performance from Mariachi Octavo, creating a lively and memorable cultural experience for all in attendance.

This special day was filled with warmth, love, and amazing food at MonteCedro. Chef Jared and his team masterfully crafted a special menu in honor of the mothers, grandmothers, and great grandmothers who dined. Everyone enjoyed the food, fresh flowers on the tables, and the extra special service. Thank you to moms everywhere!

Gene Autry, known as the Singing Cowboy, was one of America’s most successful screen icons. Movie star, musician, singer, composer, and rodeo performer, he was beloved by all. Recently, we had the opportunity to visit the Autry Museum, showcasing the art of the American West. From cowboy culture to the intricate and striking designs of Native Americans, it was a beautiful and fascinating tour of our country’s artistic history. Fun fact: Gene Autry was also the original owner of the California Angels baseball team, now the Los Angeles Angels.
