Personalized Assisted Living

Our goal is to help each of our residents live life to the fullest.

Sometimes all that’s needed to help someone fully participate in our Creative Living culture is a little extra accommodation or assistance. That’s why each of our Life Plan communities offers custom-tailored Assisted Living as part of their continuum of care.

Personalized Assisted Living include two options:

  • Artful HomeCare. Individuals can decide to stay right where they are, within their current residence, and receive coordinated in-home services through our Artful HomeCare program, or
  • Assisted Living Residences. Our Life Plan communities provide residents with the opportunity to seamlessly transfer to one of our easily accessible Assisted Living residences that is equipped and staffed to accommodate their individual needs.

Innovative Memory Care

ECS has created a special Memory Care Neighborhood, which we call The Courtyard. It is a safe, friendly household setting designed to reflect the intimacy and comfort of a personal home. It features an elegant, landscaped courtyard that provides residents with easy and secure access to fresh air and sunshine.

Every day, specially trained, dedicated, and compassionate life enrichment professionals come together with residents to create meaningful daily experiences.

Creative Living is expressed in many ways at The Courtyard, including through the nationally celebrated Music & Memory℠ program, which enables residents and families to reconnect with the music they love.

Creative Cooking is an extension of Creative Living at The Courtyard. Led by our exceptional life-enrichment partners, this innovative program uses food and flavor to reconnect with powerful sensory-related memories. This fully supervised program is available at MonteCedro and The Covington.

Long-Term Care at The Canterbury

The Canterbury is an exceptional community for those who need daily medical care and are seeking a comfortable and safe place to age well. We have created a feeling of family, where residents socialize in an atmosphere of resort-style living while receiving 24-hour care, led by our Director of Nurses, RN. Our team of therapists and other specialists ensures residents receive excellent health care services while enjoying the wide range of activities, events, programming and outings that are at the heart of our ECS communities.
